Edeninfo System Development Methodology (SDM)

The Edeninfo System Development Methodology (SDM) represents a series of logically organized activities that result in successful information technology projects.  Project managers use the SDM to produce predictable results, achieve successful outcomes, document project activities, and comply with requirements set by the Institution and state regulatory agencies. The SDM is a road map showing how information technology projects are developed, documented, and managed throughout a organization.

The development of complex and critical software systems demands a systematic and engineering-like procedure. Edeninfo System Developing Methodology has been developed due to our project experiences during the last few years.

Our process model is a  collection of best practices from project experiences in the areas of requirements engineering, project management and controlling, risk management, quality management, software development and testing methods – allows us to conjointly overcome arising challenges, to keep to deadlines and budgets as well as to document the course of a project and its change management more easily.

Many organizations have begun to focus attention on Model Driven Architecture (MDA) as an approach to application design and implementation. This is a very positive development for several reasons. MDA encourages efficient use of system models in the software development process, and it supports reuse of best practices when creating families of systems. As defined by the Object Management Group (OMG), MDA is a way to organize and manage enterprise architectures supported by automated tools and services for both defining the models and facilitating transformations between different model types.
